The Croteaux Tasting Barn and Garden is unique among North Fork wineries. Housed in an 1800's carraige barn, the quaint and cozy tasting room opens up to a beautiful pebbled courtyard garden surrounded by historic barns. During the warmer months, guests are greeted and welcome to enjoy table service at the outdoor bar or at an umbrella table. Our lounge is a cool breezy indoor space with a stunning wind chime wall of hanging bottles. Sit in these relaxing surroundings, sipping Rosé overlooking the vines, and feel your self transported to a different place.

The venue changes seasonally. In the spring, the bloom of a large weeping cherry tree is the focal point in the center of the garden, with daffodils and forsythia blooming at our entrance. As summer heats up, tropical plants and colors emerge in the garden border with lush greenery from the welcome shade of a large cedar tree. When the grapes in the vineyard are ready for harvest in September, the garden is punctuated with the color of dahlias and mums well into fall. Thanksgiving and the holidays are warm and cozy in our Gallery-Lounge or in the Tasting Barn. Each year, the Tasting Barn and Garden is closed in the winter, once we sell out of wine.

Groups smaller than eight people, in private vehicles, are welcome. We cannot accommodate larger groups, and do not accept limos, busses, taxis, or any hired car services. We serve cheese and baguette to accompany your wine tasting. You are welcome to enjoy your picnic lunch at the local picnic area on the beach at the end of South Harbor Road, or at other wineries who accept outside food. Our goal is to create an enjoyable, tasteful environment focused on Rosé.
